Feeling like the best version of yourself is what every bride wants on their wedding day. Danielle Kissinger felt this way in her gorgeous mermaid gown as she married her soulmate, Michael Kissinger on June 9, 2017 at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Babylon, New York.
For Danielle, going to Kleinfeld Bridal was just a fun activity to do with her girlfriends. She had already found a gown that she liked and never expected actually getting her dream wedding dress from the famous bridal salon. Since Danielle had been shopping before, she knew that she was looking for a dress with a mermaid silhouette, unique lace, and not too much bling. The consultant pulled a few dresses for Danielle to try on including a Pnina Tornai mermaid gown with sparkle-embellished lace, tennis bracelet straps, and a beautiful tulle skirt.
Danielle tried on the Pnina Tornai gown first and went out into the salon to show it to her friends and family. The moment that Danielle walked out in the gown, everyone immediately exclaimed that this was the one. Floored by their reaction, Danielle couldn't believe that the first gown she tried on at Kleinfeld Bridal would be “the one.” Danielle continued trying on other gowns, but her friends and family declared that each gown simply did not compare to the first Pnina Tornai gown. Therefore, Danielle slipped back into the gown and came back out for a second time.
Danielle reminisces, “The second time I came out in the dress after trying on all those other dresses, I just knew this is it!”
With no expectations of finding a dress that day, Danielle could not help but say yes to this dream wedding dress. For Danielle it was all about the details. The lace on this gown was so unique and also fun with all of the sparkling embellishments underneath the lace. The tennis bracelets straps had some sparkle while still being nice and delicate. Lastly, the gown fit like an absolute dream. The only thing Danielle had altered on the gown was the deep v-neckline, which she had brought in a bit so as not to be so revealing. With that small alteration made, this gown was the manifestation of exactly what Danielle had hoped to wear on her wedding day.
For the couple’s ethereal garden-themed reception, this gown was the perfect fit. The tulle skirt at the bottom brought a nice touch of whimsy while the floral lace really tied everything together. To finish the look, Danielle added a cathedral length veil outlined with floral lace, drop earrings, and a lovely bracelet. In her side swept hair she wore a crystal comb to compliment the sparkle of the gown while still showcasing the elegant button-adorned back of the gown.
“I just felt happy and beautiful like a princess,” Danielle gushes. “It was the perfect dress for me!”
As exquisite as a delicate flower, Danielle wed the love of her life, ready to blossom into the next phase of life and love.
