While creating and working on my 2018 Couture Collection, I was uncertain about the name I would choose to call it. The dresses are romantic, yet up to date with the modern bride--the bride that cares to look feminine and romantic, but is also bold and open-minded.
I designed new fabrics along with unique embroideries and laces, pickups, cutouts, extravagant ball gowns, and body enhancing dresses with the option of what I call "surprise skirts." These skirts can turn any fitted dress into a breathtaking ball gown for the bride who is a princess at heart and a confident woman as well. These surprise skirts come off after the first dance and showcase the bride's body in a beautiful mermaid silhouette, just like magic. I worked with French laces hand-beaded by the best hand crafters. I designed dimensional flowers and unique appliqués that embellish my dresses and turn dreams into reality. From silk Duchess satin to organza to tulle and taffetas, the precious fabrics that can make a dress fit for royalty were used to create my 2018 Couture Collection.
After all, this is the ball of our lives and the bride is the princess. Dress after dress came with the same message: the combination of fragility and the strength of the unbreakable. Chantilly laces and chunks of Swarovski crystals that mimic broken mirrors are what I chose to speak the theme of my collection.
Everything is breakable.
Everything is fragile.
Fragility is our strength.
Love Always,
