No matter how many dresses a woman wears, there will never be a gown more magical and beautiful than her wedding gown. Feeling like a timeless beauty, Nia Sanchez Booko married her true love, Daniel Booko on October 17, 2015 at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California.
After an unsuccessful search for the gown of her dreams online, Nia ventured to Kleinfeld Bridal to find a dress that seemed to only exist in her mind. While she could not envision the bottom half of her dream dress, Nia knew that she wanted the top to be nicely fitted and for the whole gown to feel magical. To her great fortune, Nia’s wonderful consultant knew just the right gown to pull for her. The consultant went straight into the Pnina Tornai Boutique and brought back a lace mermaid gown with a deep V-neck and low back.
he romantic lace and the mermaid silhouette. In fact, Nia had an extensive history with mermaid gowns since they served as her signature look while competing in pageants. She had even worn one when she won Miss USA in 2014! Therefore, it came as no surprise that Nia naturally gravitated to the beautiful silhouette of this wedding gown.
However, this was going to be her wedding dress! Did Nia really want to stick with the same style for the most important gown she would ever wear? Nia’s mother didn’t think so. She was still not fully convinced about the alluring wedding gown. With the perfect solution in mind, Nia’s consultant headed back into the Pnina Tornai Boutique and grabbed a custom made Pnina Tornai skirt that could be worn over the mermaid gown!
“They brought the skirt in and I just fell in love with it,” Nia explains. “I had never seen anythingli it before!”
The detachable skirt gave Nia the princess look she didn’t know she wanted. Since she never considered wearing a ball gown in a pageant or even on her wedding day, loving the full ball gown skirt caught Nia by surprise. However, after seeing the skirt combined with the mermaid gown, everyone knew this gown was the one.
“When I walked or moved in the gown it felt like I was walking on a cloud. It was so magical.”
Nia said yes to an alluring lace mermaid gown with deep V-neck and low back that wondrously transformed into a dazzling ball gown with the addition of a detachable full tulle skirt. Nia decided to wear the ball gown version of the dress for the wedding ceremony and would remove the full skirt to reveal the mermaid gown to everyone at the reception.
To add an element of surprise to her amazing dress transformation, Nia kept the underlying mermaid silhouette a secret from almost everyone including her unsuspecting husband! It has always been said that everyone loves a good surprise, and this was no exception.
Wearing the dress of her dreams and wedding the love of her life, it came as no surprise that Nia was ready for a beautiful and wonderful life.
