DETAILS, LADIES, DETAILS!

When choosing a gown it is often the details that set one gown apart from another. There are always the main aspects to consider such as the silhouette, color, and price range that people usually have a strong opinion about during the dress shopping experience. Here are a few of those little details that you may want to give some thought to while searching for your dream wedding dress.

Straps or strapless?

I know this may not seem like a huge thing but you would be surprised. Straps are a great way to add some extra detailing to the gown with floral lace or perhaps some shining tennis bracelet straps. If you are a bustier woman, straps are also a wonderful way to add support as you dance the night away. If you've been pining for that strapless sweetheart gown forever though, see what designers can open the cup so that the girls can sit comfortably in your gown and you can get your boogie on out of the dance floor without a care in the world.

Bling or no bling?

As the Queen of Bling you already know which side of this decision I favor. There is no better day to sparkle and shine than on your wedding day so I say the more bling the better! I'm talking crystals on everything including the gown, the accessories, the shoes, and the veil! A lot of brides are surprised though when they realize how many gowns I make that have no bling at all. I will forever love a lacy romantic sheath gown. Wherever you fall on the bling spectrum, make sure the gown you choose isn't too flashy or too understated for you. It's your day so bling it up (or down) your way.

Low, keyhole, or classic back?

This question could be a blog all on it's own to be honest. My best advice on this subject: decide how much back you are willing to show and take it from there. As I always say, the back of the gown is just as important as the front so make sure not to neglect this side of your gown. You want to make your guests “ooh” and “ahh” as you are coming and going, so keep that in mind as you are choosing your dream gown.
